Four days - Classical tour of Greece

Explore all major Archaeological sites of Greece joining the four days classical tour of Greece. 1st DAY

Starting the classical tour of Greece we are driving to the south of Athens. Our first stop is at Corinth Canal (shortstop) which is a masterpiece of engineerring, and later on, we visit Epidaurus, the biggest health center of the ancient World. You will see the famous for its remarkable acoustics theatre and the Museum. Then, we drove to Nauplion which was the first capital of Greece(shortstop). Continuing to Mycenae you will see the Cyclopean Walls, the Lion's Gate, and Atrea's treasury. In the evening we arrive at Olympia where you might have dinner & overnight.

2nd DAY

In the morning are visit the archaeological site and the museum of Olympia, the birthplace of the Olympic Games. You will be able to see the Stadium, Palestra, Leonidaio, the Stadium, and the workshop of Phidias, the temple of Hera, and Zeus. Leaving Olympia, we are driving via Patras to Rion, we cross the channel to Antirion on the "state of the art" bridge, which is considered the longest in Europe. Arriving near Nafpaktos, then continuing to Delphi, the navel of the world. Dinner & overnight in Delphi.

3rd DAY

After breakfast, we are visiting the archaeological site and the remarkable museum of Delphi, you will have the chance to see the Theatre, Tholos, the temple of Apollo, the treasuries and the Stadium. Inside the Museum you will see the statue of Charioteer, the golden mask of Apollo and many more. After Delphi, we are departing to Kalambaka through Amphissa and Trikala. Dinner and overnight in Kalambaka.

4th DAY

Departing from Kalambaka, we visit the breathtaking Meteora monasteries that are built on high rocks which was created millions of years before. You will visit 2 monasteries which is the Holy Trinity and Varlaam. After lunch, we drive back to Athens passing via Thermopylae where the heroic battle of 300 Spartans against the Persian army at 480 BC was. Late in the evening, we are returning to Athens.
