At Greece Athens Tours, we understand that travel plans sometimes change. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our guests and our team — reflecting the real operational commitments involved in organizing private tours and multi-day itineraries.
Day Tours & Transfers
Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled departure time will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled departure are non-refundable.
This applies to all single-day Athens tours, shore excursions, Cape Sounion, Ancient Corinth, Marathon, Argolis, Delphi day trips, Athens by Night, Athens Swimming Cruise, Athens Wine Tour, and all private transfers from Athens Airport.
Multi-Day Tours
Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled departure will receive a full refund.
Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled departure are non-refundable.
This applies to the 2 Days Delphi & Meteora Tour, 2 Days Argolis & Olympia Tour, and the Classical Tour of Greece. Multi-day tours involve hotel bookings, guide arrangements, and transport that are confirmed in advance — the 48-hour window reflects these commitments.
No-Shows
Guests who do not appear at the agreed pick-up point at the confirmed departure time without prior notice are considered a no-show. No-shows are non-refundable regardless of the reason.
Cancellations by Greece Athens Tours
In the rare event that Greece Athens Tours cancels a tour due to circumstances within our control, you will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional cost.
We are not responsible for cancellations caused by circumstances outside our control, including severe weather conditions, strikes, natural disasters, government-imposed restrictions, or road closures. In these cases, we will make every reasonable effort to reschedule your tour or offer a partial refund where costs have not already been committed.
How to Cancel
To cancel a booking, contact us as soon as possible by email at greeceathenstours@gmail.com or by phone at +30 6934112945. Please include your booking reference and the tour date in your message.
Refunds are processed within 5-7 business days to the original payment method.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend that all guests arrange travel insurance covering trip cancellation, medical expenses, and personal liability before travelling. Unexpected events happen — having appropriate coverage protects your investment and gives you peace of mind.
